Why are New Relic dashboard URLs getting blocked in my Confluence pages?

Sarah Holdgrafer October 20, 2020

My support team requested we add links to our New Relic dashboards in a few Confluence pages for easier access, but each time I try to add them Confluence will not save the URL if I attempt to embed it into text. Once I save the page, the link displays as "http://#"

It looks like I can add it correctly if it's just the naked URL, but it's a very long URL and I'd rather not do that if possible. Any ideas why this might be happening?

Hi Sarah,

I've tested this behavior and unfortunately found it to be an identified bug: CONFCLOUD-69852 . As you noted, pasting the long URL without trying to make existing text into a link seems to work correctly. I've added some notes to this issue that should help our development team solve the problem. I'd recommend watching the linked issue above in order to get updates about the progress of the bug. Thanks for noting this, as your question helped improve the bug report.

Cheers,
