I have 2 forms, Release form and Project form. The Release form has a Smart Multi-row field named Projects. When populating the field, you can select a project from a drop down menu that is pulling project names from a drop down field called Project Names from the Project form. Everything works great.
In the Table view macro the field displays the project names selected. However, when I export the table into excel, the same field shows the corresponding ID number instead of the project name or field.label.
How do I fix this?
Example:
ID=1, Label= Project A, The number 1 gets populated in excel instead of "Project A"
This is by design - only a reference to the external form is exported. Excel file is two dimensional, and a multi-row can have many rows per each exported row.
How would you want to see this exported? How the column for the smart multi row should look like?
Alex
Alex,
I've attached snapshots that I hope will help me explain the issue. You will notice that the Confiforms Table View macro rendors the field.label [Project Name] in Confluence, yet when the table is exported into excel/csv only the field.id shows up. I would like to see the actual project name (ie. "Eligibility_CM") in excel. Maybe there is a better way to configure the form or field, just not sure.

Hi @Jennifer Severado ,
Alex here from ConfiForms will probably be able to help out on this one.
Additionally, you could always reach out directly to the vendor via their support desk or mail to ask for help configuring or troubleshooting their apps (vendors are usually quite helpful).
Hope you'll get this sorted out.
Cheers,
Tobi
