Why does the page layout look different between different monitors?

I have created a page with headings and tables that looks correct to me on the monitor I was using. If another person opens the page, say on a wider screened monitor things like headings will no longer be centred. Is there a way to format a page so everything will line up universally regardless of your monitor size, resolution etc.?

Most content these days are dynamic and can adapt to the resolution used. Since monitors have different resolutions I suspect it is less to do with the different monitor and more to do with the different resolution / aspect ratio of the other monitor.

Different browsers can also interpret the same web  page slightly differently.

Increase/decrease the width of the window on your display and notice the behaviour on your page.

If used correctly styling should show a centered element in the center regardless of the resolution used to view the content.

I suggest you look at the design of your page again and see if there is some things you can change to make it appear correctly on different resolutions.
