Why is Widget Connector timing out while getting placeholder?

Hello Altassian Community,

Can anyone please provide some insight about why I am getting the following error message everytime I try to embed a video onto my page using the Widget Connector macro: Timeout while getting placeholder. Please try again shortly. ?

The videos I am attempting are:

Configuration is 400 x 350 px. 

Not sure if there is an issue on video, confluence, or my end at this point. I tried for two days now.

Hello Gil,

Thank you for raising this with us. Are you using Confluence Server or Cloud? If you're using Server, it sounds like you've run into this issue:

• Widget Connector problem on Confluence 6.4.2 and Confluence 6.13.4 

In many of the cases I've seen in support regarding this, increasing the timeout resolved the issue. In other cases, the issue was due to a firewall or proxy not allowing the Confluence server to communicate with YouTube.
