Why the F does the adding a SPACE in text not actually ADD THE SPACE?!?!?!? LIKE WHAT!?!?!?!

the description of an epic, or a feature etc. 

it's the least user friendly thing, why is this happening? when i hit save i expect to see w/e # of lines breaks i added
