Will Excerpt-Include work with Knowledgebase Articles?

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Excerpt Include Macro

I am trying to include an excerpt of a knowledge base article in a different space.   Will this work and if not whats the best way to include the article in the page?

Hi,

No, the excerpt-include macro will only work in the same space as the excerpt is in.

You could link to the article in the second space or copy the page and move it to the second space.

You could also try the Multi Excerpt plugin (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/biz.artemissoftware.confluence.multiexcerpt.MultiExcerptMacro/cloud/overview). I just installed it in test yesterday and really like the features!

You may also be able to use the Page Include macro, if you want to include an entire article on a page in your second space.
