Will the style macro be added to the New Editor?

Hello,

With the old editor, we had the option to use the "style" macro to add additional styles to properties on our Confluence pages. 

It is a super useful tool and I am just wondering whether this feature will be added as an option to use with the new editor in the nearest future?

Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, the style macro has been deprecated from Confluence Cloud.

I am beginning to sense a theme here.  Whereas most companies strive to improve their system over time, Atlassian is trying to remove functionality over time.  I sense that in 10 years from now we will be back to using VI style commands to create content :(
