I was wondering if Confluence had the ability to embed an active Excel document and present this spread sheet with live updates which would remove the task of users continually uploading details into a table or uploading the spread sheet or providing a link/path to a spread sheet for people to download?
You can try Excellentable Spreadsheet for Confluence to import the xlsx file and edit it without leaving Confleuce itself.
Hi @Mark Jeffery ,
If it works for you, you can also try to switch from separate spreadsheets to Confluence tables. You can enhance the default Confluence functionality with filtering, pivoting and charts building features with the help of the Marketplace apps such as Tabel Filter and Charts.

@Mark Jeffery Hey, Mark! I'm going to move this to the Confluence section, so you can get the best possible answers.

Depending on which version of Confluence you're using, you could consider using the Confluence Companion App. You can attached a file (in this case your excel document) to Confluence as an attachment and edit using the Companion App. This will push all updates to the file and mean the visible file within Confluence is the latest version.
You can find out more about the Companion App here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/edit-files-170494553.html

Hi,
Natively, there are no options to do this in Confluence, and you will need to try one of the apps available from the Marketplace. Try searching for "spreadsheet".
Hope that helps!
