automating task lists by date

In the confluence to do list, I have tasks organized by Today; Week-work; Week-personal. Is there a way to automate moving tasks from the 2 weekly lists into the today list (similar to calendar rule or butler function in trello)?

There is not a way to do it with the delivered application.  I am also not aware of any apps that you could use to do this.
