can't synchronize the user directory from jira when diasabled default authentication for API in jira

Hello,
Im Anja from Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena.

If I disable the default authentication for API requests in jira, Confluence can no longer synchronize the user directory from jira. What do I need to do?
Jira 8.20.15 and Confluence 7.13.7 are in use.

Errormessage: default authentication for API in jira is diabled
