children macro with custom page description

hello, I would like to have the children pages displayed with a short custom description of each page.

There is a macro called UI children cards and it displays cards. There would be the space for a short description but there's no place to add it...

Does anyone have any recommendations or ideas on how to do that? Thx!

If you are up to writing code, you could take the user macro I documented in this article:

And adapt it to pull metadata set on the child page (maybe using this plugin Metadata for Confluence )
