Hi everyone,
I'm currently working on adapting an existing meeting template in Confluence. While there's already a native Confluence table in use, we’d like to further optimize it - especially in terms of formatting for easier editing.
At the moment, we're still working in Excel, as it allows us to use conditional formatting to highlight due dates visually. This functionality would also be extremely helpful in Confluence - particularly in the editing mode, since we usually take notes live during meetings. While the Table Transformer macro offers similar functionality, it only applies formatting in the published view, not while editing.
So my question is: does anyone know of a macro, HTML script, or any other method that allows for automatic color highlighting (e.g., based on dates) within the editing view?
If anything is unclear, I’d be happy to clarify or discuss further.
Best regards,
Stefan
Hi @Stefan Höhenleiter ,
As you've mentioned the Table Transformer macro, we suppose that you have our Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence app.
If this is the case, you may take the Table Spreadsheet macro and apply conditional formatting/use it for meeting notes. The macro is editable both from page view and page edit mode.
Natively, you cannot do a conditional formatting in a table.
But with the plugin excellentable spreadsheet for confluence you can do it.
Enjoy :)
Regards
