According to the article Unable to access any restricted pages as administrator there is a super-super admin in Confluence Server, which has the group confluence-administrators assigned.
Is there an equivalent in Confluence Cloud? We have couple of spaces that are only visible for some people, it could be handy that an admin could access those spaces if needed.
Hi Daniel,
There is a system admin in Cloud, but only Atlassian can use it, and they will never delete the admin groups.
Your Confluence admins will be able to get into restricted pages and edit the restrictions.
Hi Nic
Thanks for your answer; on my side it looks like admins do not see restricted spaces.
We have one example space called "COMP HR" in our Confluence on-prem Server. That space have permissions for 4 individual persons out of the HR department, no groups.
We exported that to the cloud. Now only these 4 persons do have access there. No "Admin takeover" possible. Before we had the super-super admin with the group confluence-administrators. A similar group does not exist in confluence cloud, as far as I see. I gave my user the following groups (some are probably from the migration), "comp" replaces with our company name:
With that groups I still don't see the "COMP HR" space. Is there a way to get access to that as a confluence admin?
Regards
Daniel

As an admin, you should be able to see all the spaces (but not necessarily anything in them), and go to their "space settings" page, where you can correct the permissions and get the list of restricted pages.
