confluence database excerpt field is not working

I've created a simple excerpt and tried to show it under the database - after linking the page but no results.

Does the problem persist? There was an incident affecting search and some CQL stuff on Confluence on April 3-4 and you might have been affected.

Reindexing the site solves the issue and Atlassian have been reindexing the sites. 

Excerpts work for me in my Database and our site was re-indexed as a part of the solution so if you still have issues, open an online chat with Atlassian Support and ask them to reindex your site.
