confluence server to cloud

Hi ,

Currently, I'm performing migration of confluence instance server to cloud. The current license confluence instance expired. Should I need to upgrade with the latest version then migrate?

If I migrate with the same old version of confluence. Does cloud runs on the same version or it going to run in updated version.

Hi @Teja 

If you're on Confluence 6.13 or greater, Conlluence Cloud Migration Assistant is bundled in your Confluence instance.  If not, you'd need to install it from the Atlassian Marketplace.  CCMA should handle your migration needs.

If you have to install CCMA, or if you want to be at the latest version of Confluence, I'd see about getting a Confluence Data Center trial license from my.atlassian.com.

Finally, Cloud is different.  Cloud will always be upgraded and receive the latest changes.
