we create folders under folders (tree structure) in which we keep documents, ppts, videos and everything, how do we do the same thing in confluence
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
You don't. Confluence is not an artefact storage system, it is a structured wiki.
It does have simple storage for blobs, you can attach things to pages, but it is a simple flat list of (versioned) attachments per page, there's no use for "folders".
The "tree structure" applies to confluence spaces - pages live in a tree structure within a space.
The best thing you can do is start thinking of Confluence as a wiki - create pages (documents) that are ready for immediate use, and in a useful tree structure. Then attach static dumps of the files your people might associate with the page they are reading, in that page.
