customise the confluence add user email message

hi, has anyone any oidea how to customise the message sent to a new user after I add them via "add user"?

[I thought the text came from the same place as "invite user" and that changing that would have the desired effect - no joy so far]

As always any pointers much appreciated

You have to be administrator with access to the server where Confluence is running. You will find the instructions here:

thank you - great answer and very quick

I had followed this pointer early in thsi quest but hadnt any idea how to find the correct file to edit and put the file/search toone side. Now after the great pointer and after searching high and low through many other jars I now can unpack with the best of them and grep for the right content and hence identify the file:

com/atlassian/confluence/core/ConfluenceActionSupport.properties

Now a quick edit and repack

shame this isnt customisable more easily
