edit confluence home page for anonymous access

I have confluence server edition, I want to edit the home page of confluence for anonymous access. When an anonymous user comes to the confluence home page I don't want to show updates and other info. Can this be done ? I tried to use the guide

 but in the end I can't avoid that if a space or a page are "anonymous access authorized" that is public, the list of updates appears. Can you tell me if I can change the home page of confluence with another page ? Where do I change it from?

You can change the home page to be the dashboard or any single space's home page in Admin -> Further configuration.

But it is a global change, not just for anonymous users.
