export to document does not display images

Hi Team,

Recently noticed that in a confluence page, when i export a document, the exported document doesn't show the images. The image is marked as cross with red symbol. 

I am using confluence version 3.5.13 and my machine is Windows machine. The document reader is Microsoft office. Is this a known bug?? Is there any alternative in which i can pull the images?

Side Note: Export to pdf does work FINE. Issue noticed only for Export to Doc.

Also for confluence version of 5.6.3, is this issue fixed?

This "bug" has existed for a very long time.  If you desire to see the graphics on your pages, I suggest doing a PDF export.
