fixing html copy-and-paste

Yuri Zats March 20, 2012

I copy-pasted HTML content into Confluence. It worked quite nicely... until I realized that my paste included a number of hidden attributes that don't show up in the editor. For example, <a> tags.

This seems to create a problem for DocBook exports, so I need to clean up the pages. Is there any way to get to the source of XHTML an edit out unwanted attributes ? Any other suggestions, other than re-importing the data ?

Thank you.

You could try to use WebDAV to access source of your Confluence pages and edit them in any text editor.
