Hello! Good question you got there.
Yes, it can indeed be achieved in Confluence. For this to work, you will need to apply different level headings to your documents.
Headings at first level will be at the first level of your space. Headings at level two will be directly under the level one heading. And lastly, headings at level three will be under level two.
You need to apply the default Heading Styles present in Confluence to create this multi-level page import. You can find the Heading Styles under the Home tab, right at the top.
Here we have some official Microsoft documentation on how to apply document Headings:

-Add a heading

To import the word document, you need to:

  1.  Create a new page
  2. Publish it
  3. Click the Three dots menu (...)
  4. Click Import from Word Document
  5. Click Browse to select your file
  6. Click Next
  7. Under Split by heading select *Level 3 headings*
  8. Click Import

You need to have the Office Connector Plugin enabled for the import to be available. You can check this under Cog Icon>Add-ons>All Add-ons.

Hope this helps!
