how can i sort the search results or eliminate duplicate results of the search.

Virgilio February 12, 2019

Hello Dear.

i have a lot of files attached in a company page named CV and i need to build a list of technologies  and the number of users that known that technologies.

So, for example, if i search in a page over the word "css" i have 67 results but some are duplicates(where the user write "css" more times in a cv) BUT i can't order the list of results for every cv attached because i need to count all the employees(users) that know css technology.

I need to finnish that task today, so i appreciate very much a rapid responses.

Thanks you very mcuh.

Hi Virgilio,

I understand you are searching multiple files attached to a single page, and you'd like to know how many mention a certain technology at least once.

I'm not sure Confluence has the functionality you're asking for, but I'd like to be sure to fully understand what you're trying to do: Could you let us know the steps you're taking to search these files? If possible a screenshot of some the search results will also be helpful.

Thanks!

I have a similar/same problem. For example, I have searched for any page or content of a file on a page that mentions the word Debit. I will get the same document appearing in the search results multiple times if it contains the word Debit. I would like to have it appear only once so search results easy to read.
