Peter, you can update the Comment by editing the properties of the attached file by clicking the properties link for the attached file. More information here about 1/2 way down:

Yup, when viewing the page, you'll see your file attachments. there's a ">" in front of the file name, click it to expand details on the file, then click properties to add comments.
