we need to migrate confluence v5.10.8 server to another v5.10.8 ,but i have same space name(with same key) in both confluence servers, now I want import only pages in source space to target space,is it possible? how to do it.
You will need to follow these steps: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-copy-or-rename-a-space-in-confluence-169578.html
You should avoid just exporting the pages and then importing them into the space of the new instance directly. You are still backing up a "space" if you do the selective XML backup, and when you restore of the space xml could actually cause you problems and data loss. When you backup pages into XML, the intent is you restore them in a space that doesn't already exist. Not into something that doesn't already exist. Given that the space exists on the destination, importing into a space that doesn't exist and then moving the content over will be the safest way to accomplish the task. Otherwise, you may end up having to restore the whole of the destination.
