How do I or can I import documents other than word documents?
Hi Jean,
By Import, I am going to assume that you want to embed the PPT in your Confluence page.
If you have aPPT file (or any Office files and other types too) in an external repo like Box, Dropbox, Egnyte, Google Drive, Alfresco, you can use an AppFusions integration to embed the PPT in your page. This allows additional benefits of being able to display in high resolution viewer in Confluence, and "present" your PPT directly from Confluence.
If you need to edit the file, you can edit the file FROM Confluence with the edit feature, and when you save, it is saved directly to the repository. One source, always synced. All files in logical directory structure.
You can also search your repository files from Confluence search, and return results from the repository (in addition to Confluence search results).
This is a pretty popular workflow for dealing with documents in Confluence. Here's a whole bunch of videos to give more insight.
If interested in something like this, email info@appfusions.com for an eval.

p.s. This is available at current for SERVER version of Confluence only - not yet Cloud.
In Confluence you can insert PowerPoint files as attachment and then use view file. But Importing (i mean get data to a page from powerpoin) it isnt possible. You can try it convert it to word.
