i want to recover confluence content images

hello.

I had installed and used confluence server in my synology nas since 2019.

but after I moved into another place, I couldn't access my confluence.

so I backed up my confluence local directory and DB data thanks to Piotr Zadrożny.

but I couldn't find and recover image files in contents yet.

I couldn't find image files in the local directory, so I assume image data is in DB.

anybody knows how can I recover my image files?

please help me. thank you

Confluence has not been able to store attachments in the database for many years.

I very much doubt you installed an old enough version in 2019, so there's every chance that your images were stored on the disk as raw files, not in the database.

They would have been in <confluence-home>/attachments - if you did not backup and restore the files in that directory, then I'm afraid your images are gone.

i tried to search the "attachments" file in docker. but i couldn't find the folder in the directory even root;;;;

i have used it until march 2021, there was no broken image in documents.

if the directory doesn't exist.. how it can be? omg

i think my last hope is making port accessible again, i think its not that easy also

Just to be certain, have a look at Admin -> Attachments - this will tell you the full location of the attachments if you're struggling to find it.

If you didn't back up the attachments directory, then I'm afraid you have lost all the attachments.
