Once an inline comment is resolved, followers receive an email notification which looks like this:
As you can see, the name of the person who resolved the comment is there, but the author of the original comment is not included. Is this configuration-driven, or missing from Confluence altogether?

I can confirm that the notification for resolved inline comments only highlights the user who resolve them but it does not include the author of the comment while I had this tested on Confluence Cloud.
The email template for events in Confluence Cloud is not configurable, so I would say that it is a missing feature altogether.
I went ahead and created the following Suggestion to address this concern to the dev team:
