jira chart macro is displaying broken issue avatars - how to resolve?

Michael Blake September 3, 2018

We are using confluence 6.6.1 and jira 7.6.0.  The jira chart macro is attempting to reference the issue type avatars with http connection(disabled) instead of https connection.  How do we get the macro to display the issue type avatars correctly in Confluence?

Hello Michael, it might be that the application link between Confluence and Jira was created when Jira was on HTTP.
Could you try removing the Application link between Confluence and Jira, from both ends, Confluence and Jira, and try recreating them.

Once that is done, try flushing the cache from the Confluence cache management site as well.

  • (ConfluenceBaseURL)/admin/cache/showStatistics.action

If the links still redirect to HTTP, we should try clearing the plugin cache once, and see if there's any difference.

Lemme know how it goes!
