Hey guys, I was wondering it was possible to show when a section was last edited and by whom. For example one of our pages has a Product Requirements section, a Meeting Schedule table, etc. If any of these sections are edited, I was wondering if there's a way to show this.
Hi Jason,
AFAIK, you'll only get the last edited meta information at the top of a confluence page. The way other orgs track this kind of update information is to use individual confluence pages for all the 'sections'. Put that content in it's own page in an excerpt section. Then on your main page that combines all the sections, you can use excerpt-include macros to add the individual pages content all on the 1 page. To update the sections, you'll edit the individual pages responsible for each sections excerpt. Whoever edited the individual pages content will be tracked on each individual page.
Hope this helps!
