"Status" macro - not able to link to Project Dashboard

I'm assuming (but hoping I'm wrong) that this functionality was removed for whatever reason, but I have built out a Project dashboard and I need to expose many things from each projects weekly reports, but most importantly the status. It needs to update to this main dash in real-time. 

The problem, I am only able to add the status lozenge, not edit or 'link' it to another page. 

Please help as I need to justify using Confluence over Smartsheet and this will be a deal-breaker.

You said, that this functionality was removed. Honestly, I'm not aware, that this function exists ever since :) 

As a workaround, you could use the excerpt macro to display the status macros from other pages.

Hi @Dominic Lagger  - yes I was able to edit the Status macro before so that it could then bubble up to a bigger dashboard. There are even old How To's in here that show how to do it, but the 'edit' option is gone now :-(

I'll mess around with excerpt but we need it to update all linked pages real-time and I'm reading that the Excerpt function sometimes doesn't.
