Hello!

I'm creating a table on mi confluence where I'm using Live Filtration instead of macro to filter so it's cleaner and because of the number of columns (11, so it'd be too many macros).

I'm having an issue on some Columns where the content of the rows have an image and a number as caption, because the filter type of the Live Filtration turns into a "Dropdown type" filter ignoring the images on the row. Is there a way to set as Default the "Visual filter" on Live Filtration, so even if there are text on the rows together with the images i can filter by the image?

Hi @Rafael Gaudeoso Vilarinho,

The behavior of the macro is correct. If you have only emoticons (icons) in your cells, then you are presented with a visual filter. Emoticons+text are recognized as strings, so you are given a dropdown filter to use.

Seems that the only workaround here may be to use a separate column for your text captions.

Not feasible to get a separate column for text because id have to create one text column for each icon one, so 11 new columns.

The question here is not if the macro is working correctly, but if there is any way of changing it to visual filter instead of Dropdown type

Hi @Rafael Gaudeoso Vilarinho,

In addition to my previous answer, please note that you can choose the type of filter yourself in the Table Filter macrobrowser and set the visual filter for the required columns manually (for filters in header as well, I used panel view just for the screenshot).

But, of course, it can’t be done while your table is not wrapped in the macro (you’ve mentioned that you want to use Live Filtration – so I understood that you use filters in headers without saving the changes and your table is not wrapped in the Table Filter macro, you just filter on the fly and move on).
