Confluence version 5.1.4, new install on a localhost.
When editing a page (or any other document) the message about saving a draft does not appear in the lower corner.
I've checked the timeout settings (and used 30/45 seconds) and also attempted this in Firefox/Chrome and IE. The drafts are being saved, if I leave the page and return I am notified that a draft exists.
Does anyone have any pointers where to check to see what may be missing in my setup?
Steve
Edit Note : I've retried the complete setup on a different laptop (with a larger screen & resolution) and the message does show at the bottom of the screen. I'll have to check the screen setup on the initial laptop next week, it looks like it might be a user setup problem :)
Hi Steve,
This might be some problem with the browsers or the screen resolution.
Can you state which resolution worked and which didn't so we can try to test here and see if this is a bug?
Thanks!
Rodrigo
Rodrigo,
I believe it is the resolution. Currently set to 1366x768, the maximum this laptop will support.
If I hide the windows taskbar I can see the messages appearing, so it isn't a problem with Confluence.
