send email to page plugin - spam from LinkeIn

Hello all,

I wonder if anything like this ever happened to you. I use the Plugin Email To Page and recently I started to receive notifications from LinkedIn ("misterxyz what to add you to his network" kind of notifications)!

Now, I tried to get rid of this things on LinkedIn platform, but they keep crawling in!

Have anyone ever got a problem like this? Any clue how can I solve the issue without having to change the email address used in the plugin?

You could try putting a spam filter in front of the email receiving system. But ultimately that may not be 100% effective. If you really want to stop it you'll probably need a different email address. You should make it something very obscure so it won't happen again in the future.

Another option, depending upon your email platform, would be to set up an email rule to delete anything that doesn't come from a certain list of email addresses.
