Can you move a space to parent page (with it's child pages) to another space?

Welcome to the community.

If you move the root (home) page to another space, all content from the source space will be moved along with it. The source space will still exist  but it will no longer have a home page.

Are you trying to move a group of pages (parent and all of its children) from one space to another?

If you want to move everything in the space (overview page and all its children), I think you need to do steps 1 and 2 below first:

1. Set a new placeholder page as the space overview (Space settings > General > Space details > Home content)
2. Move the former overview page under this placeholder and reorder all of the pages in the space to be under it to make it their parent (Space settings > Content > Reorder).
3. Locate the parent page and move it and all its children to another space (see https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/move-copy-and-hide-pages/ for steps and required permissions)

I don't know if this moves folders, whiteboards, and databases that you might have in the tree. This page was written before those features were added and, apparently, has not been updated since. These topics may be covered in other questions posted in the community.
