I have users who want input data changes into the confluence pages via the "static" table (not the live table macro). They want it this way instead of updating an attached excel file. I am concern about audit-ability. So are the changes save in an archive with versions when the page is resaved or lost?

  • Did not use live table because it doesn't prevent overwrites if two users edit at same time.

Yes, each change of a page (doesn't matter if it's a table inside a page) is versioned. One hint:

If concurrent editing is activated, changes of users on the same page at the same time are shown as a single version in the page history, but you can still track who made changes to this version.

Lost pages ( I assume you mean pages being deleted) are first put to a space trash (They can be recovered or purged by a space admin).
