unable to add Jira Charts in a confluence page

I've seen people reporting this issue since 2018. I faced this issue today, where after selecting a jira chart and see it on the preview window, then select insert nothing is inserting.

this is affecting my everyday work, and seems like there is no work around. what is the solution and why is this happening now ? when can this be fixed.

This behavior used to be a bug earlier, but as mentioned here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-67476 it is already fixed.

Did you check if this is the same issue in other browser or incognito window ?

I would suggest to check with Atlassian support Team on this in case if above mentioned workaround fails https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

looks like this bug is reoccurring now, using a different browser didn't fix the issue.
hope this will be solved soon.
