update confluence page using urllib

I can update the confluence page using requests in my local system but I have to run my script in remote Linux (redhat 7) server . Its contains python 2.7 with urllib,urllib2 and httplib libraries. I can't install requests module in server cause I'm not root user.

Is there any way to update page using urllib or urllib2
