This seems to have little to do with confluence, but if you do need this information for confluence you can use viewtracker plugin. It allows not only to see how many hits, but who red your page too.

ViewTracker is just a macro so it can be placed anywhere on the page, but it seems that you are asking if it can be added automatically; it can be added to a template, but that is it for automation.

That "Blank page" is not actually a template (templates have a different icon).
You can create a template and call it "Blank page" and add the ViewTracker macro to it, but it will appear at the bottom of the list:

If you promote the new "Blank page" template it will be the only option that appears:

If besides the view count, the last view time / last update and over page status is also relevant, then the Archiving Plugin displays you exactly where you expect that:
