Did you mean:

which different formats can now be edited [Confluence 6.11]

Bernd Le August 27, 2018

With the new update, there should be a better way to edit files now, as can be red here, but it only states that it supports MS Office Docs, Photoshot and Keynote, any file with a Compatible Application installed.

So my question here is of course, which are all these possible compatible applications?

Also, with these applications, is there a specific version required or can i also use MS Word 2003 for example? (I know it's a harsh example, but it should still work with this wording: MS Office, no version specified)

Thanks for your Help :D

Bernd

Hello Bernd!
Good question. Well, as long as you have the Companion app and the correct software to use the file you have uploaded to Confluence you should be able use the open with feature.

any attached file with a compatible application installed on your computer.

Excerpt from

- Edit Files

So, as long as you have a default app for the file, Confluence should be able to work with it.
