Hi
We're running Confluence behind Apache using a wildcard SSL certificate. We used the instructions on this page - https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Using+Apache+with+mod_proxy- without any special steps for the wildcard cert.
In addition we're using the same wildcard cert for JIRA (behind Apache) and Crowd (via the standard tomcat container)
