Bulk modify users in Crowd

I have a large number of users that need to be removed from the jira-users group. We use Crowd for user management, so I can not use the CLI to remove the users. Is there a way to remove users from a group within Crowd in "bulk"

There's no real bulk edit interface in Crowd, but you could script this using the Crowd REST APIs.
