How to query db with sqlcmd

Hi I'm new to crowd db. I was searching for a rest api for crowd to get list all users, however ended up with the info as to login with another application to crowd, But, seems that doesn't work for me. 

I figured another way to get the list by doing a sqlcmd query on the Crowd Database. However, I'm surprised that i'm not able to run a successful query with the credentials which i use to login to SQL server GUI rather I've to use DataBase credentials.

Is there a way in which i can login with the windows credentials or the credentials i use to login to SQL server GUI.
