Extending support for Confluence 8.5 LTS

Hi Data Center community,

We have some important news for anyone using Confluence 8.5 LTS. We’re extending support for this version until 15 December 2025.

Extending support for Confluence 8.5 facilitates a smoother transition to the latest LTS version, thereby minimizing the number of upgrade steps required.

Here’s what you need to know:

• Extended Support Period: Confluence 8.5 LTS will now be supported until 15 December 2025.

• Security Focus: During this extension, we will provide only critical and high security fixes.

• One-Time Exception: This is a one-time exception. We will not extend End of Support (EoS) dates for future releases.

• Upgrade Planning: We strongly encourage all customers to plan their upgrades well in advance to ensure continued support and security.
