@Divyanshi , can you clarify the short announcement a little bit further?

To ensure the continued functionality of the templating feature in ProForma, we recommend that you update your app to the latest version before April 30th, 2025.

Is this an upfront notification about a security advisor that will be published end of April?
Whatever requires the update, are the compatible versions for Jira 10 and Jira 9 booth containing this?

Kind Regards,
Tim

Hey @Tim,

Thanks for your question.

We previously used an Atlassian Cloud service for fetching form templates, but have now integrated this directly into the app. The external service will be decommissioned by the end of April, which means older ProForma versions using the Cloud service will lose access to the example templates we provide.

The enhancements I was referring to are that this change will benefit customers with air-gapped instances, as they can now use ProForma example templates without needing to whitelist the cloud service URL.

Customers who are on the Jira version range (9.8.0 - 9.17.5) need to upgrade to the 8.8.9-DC version.

Customers who are on the Jira version range (10.3.0 - 10.5.1) need to upgrade to the 10.4.0-DC version.
