G'day guys,
we are planning to install Crowd Data centre and I am not clear on step 5: add a new Crowd node to the cluster
https://confluence.atlassian.com/crowd030beta/installing-crowd-data-center-907281680.html/
When installing the second server (node), do I need to install a fresh (empty) version of Crowd and then overwrite the Install and Home directories as specified by Atlassian ... or do I only need to get a server and copy / mount the relevant directories?
Quid of the reverse proxy configuration ?
Many thanks for your replies.
Cheers, Fred
Hi Marcin,
Many thanks for your crystal clear reply. Your explanations make sense and we will kick off the evaluation real soon.
Cheers, Fred
Great to hear that you are now on a direct path to evaluate Crowd Data Center.
On a side note, we are also working on improving the Crowd Data Center installation documentation.
Marcin,
Are you still working on Crowd? I know this post is 2 years old but I have a question.
I have followed your instructions and I have 2 nodes running, the only small issue I have is that if I use my main URL crowd.company.com I can't tell which node I'm running on. Is there an crowd cluster gui? Or a config file I need to change in order to see which node is active for the current session. I could not find any info on that. Let me know please. Thanks.
