Give a child page the name of the parent page when using create from template button

Is there a way to give a child page the name of the parent page when using create from template button?

For example by using something like "DOCUMENT 1 - @parentPage"

No, there's no way to do this.

The aim of the create function is to offer the author the freedom to name the page to what they want it to be.  It's not a good idea to put the parent page as the name of a child page, it makes the title overlong and adds nothing of any value.
