Paid research opportunity for Atlassian Administrators

Hello everyone!

It’s Pat from the Atlassian team. We are inviting Atlassian administrators who are involved with managing and monitoring the usage of products and subscriptions to participate in a round of research with our team!

What’s involved:

  • Sessions will be 1 hour and conducted over Zoom.
  • During the session, we’ll get to know your general setup any experiences you have with monitoring usage as an Atlassian Administrator
  • We may also explore conceptual diagrams and designs.
  • As a token of our appreciation, you’ll receive an e-gift card worth $100 USD after completing the session.

Sessions are conducted through the User Interviews (UI) Platform. If you are interested in participating, please reach out at pzamuco@atlassian.com

I will provide next steps then.

Looking forward to meeting with you all :)

Why is User Interviews asking for private and personal information as a pre-condition for signing up for this interview?

Is the type of medical insurance (which seems to take into account US insurance realia only), number of children etc. relevant to answer question about Atlassian subscription management?

Hello @Kristian Klima .

These are my concerns as well and I did not register there. Didn`t Atlassian simply used Zoom for earlier research interviews before?

@Marco Nowak There would be a questionaire about your interaction with Atlassian products pertaining to the subject matter of the test, your role, your company and such.

Basically, matter-of-fact, relevant details.

Then you'd be approved or not, if former, you'd get a chance to choose from data/time options.

These information are well agreed. "User Interviews" is not an option for me.

Patrick, I think you probably misconfigured something when you set the questions up. A similar problem happened recently with Eddie at Atlassian

Please see the explanation at

https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-articles/We-want-to-hear-from-you-seeking-Jira-Site-admins-for-two/bc-p/2991223#M18585

and even better, get the internal docs for how to use the tool updated so this stops happening. Atlassian attracts a lot of community distrust from these mistakes.

Hello everyone @Kristian Klima @Marco Nowak @Matt Doar (Adaptavist)

Thank you for bringing my attention to this! Completely understand the concern with sharing of personal information. I have reconfigured the User Interviews project to not require providing personal information to participate, my mistake from initial setup - so apologies for that!

Here is the new link:  https://www.userinterviews.com/projects/_5RFie6rAw/apply

I encourage new participants to reach out via email if interested to participate. Will pass this feedback on to our team and be cautious of this going forward with future research.

Please let me know if you have any questions.  Thank you!
