What's new in the Data Center world?

In case you missed it last week - I know I did - @Mel Policicchio just posted a Data Center Digest for Q4 2022.

In it, there are a number of LTS releases just pushed out (Jira 9.4 LTS!), and big (non-LTS) releases that are coming soon - like Confluence 8.0!

• Of note in Confluence, there will be subtle improvements to search result ranking. That's one of the biggest complaints I've gotten from my current and past user populations... 😅

I'm also happy to see the mention of the Guardrails concept. Even if you don't manage a massive Jira instance, it's good to keep an eye on the number of system objects being created. (Heck, even ScriptRunner 7.3+ offers scripts to help with Guardrails-related maintenance!)
