We're trying to set up Crucible to use JIRA users and groups. We're following this: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CRUCIBLE/Linking+Crucible+to+JIRA#LinkingCrucibletoJIRA-usermanagement
The application in JIRA is configured with the application name for Crucible, and the IP of the server it runs on.
In Crucible, the JIRA Authentication setting is set to the URL of our JIRA instance on https.
When clicking Next, we get the following error message: Problem communicating with JIRA: Forbidden (403) Encountered a "403 - Forbidden" error while loading this page. Go to JIRA home
We tried listing the Crucible and JIRA IDs in our proxy settings, same result. Deactivating our firewall didn't fix the problem either.
Any other ideas?
Thanks.
Hi @GEE Media Tools Manager,
Can you provide a stack trace from the Crucible log, please? It seems like there are some network problems accessing JIRA from FishEye, but I can't say easily.
You may also want to enable debug logging, including network traffic, there might be more details logged in the Crucible log.
Kind regards,
Piotr
