Jira is detecting two instances of Crucible/Fisheye

When browsing a task in Jira that has commits associated with it Jira is detecting two instances of Crucible/Fisheye, which means it is doubling up on the number of commits.   How do I remove the redundant instance?

There was a redundant application link setup in Jira.   Removing this has resolved the issue.
